Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing with the Great Commission Minor is a baccalaureate program designed to develop graduates who advance the profession of nursing and have a global impact on healthcare by modeling moral leadership and evidence-based practice, utilizing critical thinking and communication skills, and embodying the character and servanthood of Jesus Christ.

Evidence-based research project that focuses on trends and developments in the field of nursing. As part of the Capstone Presentation, students engage in a research seminar experience and showcase their findings through a poster presentation at our Annual Research Symposium. This project is a large focus of NU410 Evidence Based Practice and Nurse Research.

Starting in the fall of junior year students put class knowledge into clinical practice. Throughout the nursing program students participate in pediatric, mental health, maternal health and adult health clinicals, where they gain real-world experience equipping them for the workforce. Students graduate this program with 108 practicum hours in a hospital unit of their choice.

Admissions Requirements
- Completion of all pre-requisite courses with a grade of C or greater
- Acceptance to RSSON BSN program (additional application for RSSON admission)
- GPA of 3.0 or higher
- HESI A2 score of 78 or higher
