Macy Slate

Biography

Macy Slate felt the Lord’s calling to become a nursing professor while completing her bachelor’s degree. During her master’s program, she worked with neurological trauma patients in Atlanta, an experience that deepened her passion for nursing education. When the opportunity arose to apply for a faculty position, she knew that Truett McConnell University was where she was meant to serve. At TMU, Macy is grateful for the opportunity to integrate her faith into the art of teaching, impacting students’ lives while continuing to grow spiritually herself. She expresses heartfelt thanks to her former, current, and future students.
