CLEVELAND, Ga. – Truett McConnell University (TMU) is proud to announce Jonathan Victorian, known to family, friends, and colleagues as “Vic,” as Vice President of Enrollment. Vic brings a unique blend of corporate, ministry, and higher education experience to the role, along with a deep conviction that God has called him and his family to serve the Kingdom in Georgia.

A former student-athlete, Vic grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, the “Gateway to the West,” and graduated from Pattonville Senior High School before earning his Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies, with concentrations in Business Administration, Sports Management, and Physical Education, from Arkansas State University. He went on to work in the corporate sector, gaining experience in business, sales, and finance, before God called him out of that career and into ministry in New Orleans, Louisiana.

While in New Orleans, Vic began pursuing a Master of Divinity in Expository Preaching at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where he is set to graduate in December 2026. He will begin Ph.D. studies in Christian Ethics in the spring of 2027 under the supervision of Dr. Larry Lyon, TMU’s ninth president.

Vic currently serves as Director of MissionLab at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, where he has helped mobilize more than 5,000 volunteers from across the country to serve in missional opportunities throughout the city of New Orleans. Under his leadership, MissionLab has undergone a revitalization built on innovative, engaging systems that have strengthened the efficiency and effectiveness of its teams, partners, and community relationships, equipping students to “Serve Here, Serve Now.”

Prior to his role with MissionLab, Vic served as Chief of Staff for the Devoted Dreamers Foundation and the Davis family, and before that as an educator with the Louisiana Department of Education. He remains active as an itinerant preacher and communicator, speaking at churches, schools, and conferences nationwide, and has served as a Teacher’s Assistant for Introduction to Preaching courses at Leavell College.

“You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you” (Isaiah 26:3) has become Vic’s anchor as he steps into this new season. “I walk onto the campus of TMU with perfect peace, trusting that the Lord has brought my family here to love Him, love His people, and advance the Kingdom in Georgia,” Vic said. “Life isn’t always ‘peachy,’ but God has already shown His goodness and faithfulness in our transition from the Pelican State to the Peach State.”

Vic has been married to his wife, Ashley Ann, for eleven years, and together they have seven children: Akira, Mariya, Alijah, Joanna, Jael, Ariel, and Vic III. Ashley is a full-time mother who strives to model the Proverbs 31 woman, and who also serves as a fashion model and mentor to young women. She recently completed New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary’s Thrive Program with a Certificate in Women’s Ministry. The Victorian family looks forward to the work God is set to do at TMU and is humbled to be part of it.
