Charles Amato

Biography

After a rewarding 43-year career teaching middle school across several Northeast Georgia counties, Charles is honored to continue his passion for education at Truett McConnell University. His heart for teaching is rooted in his relationship with God, his family, and TMU.

Beyond the classroom, his life is grounded in a marriage of 48 years (and counting) and the blessing of raising two wonderful children who are now adults. When his family isn’t cheering on the Bears or enjoying time together, they can typically be found at Hobby Lobby, eagerly taking in the Fall and Christmas decor that always arrives way too early.
