Truett McConnell University is here to support students in every way possible to help them succeed and have an enjoyable college experience. From tutoring and career support to our student counseling center, TMU is committed to the success and well-being of our students.
Student Success Center
The Student Success Center ensures students are managing the transition to college well and receiving the academic support they need through:
- Coaching: Free coaching is offered for students who need consistent guidance and support.
- Peer tutoring: Tutoring sessions are led by a current student who excelled in the specific course.
- Academic Recovery: Workshops and individual coaching are held for students on academic warning and probation to help them recover and succeed.
Counseling Center
TMU’s counseling center aims to provide biblically centered mental health services to students. This resource offers free on campus sessions to students and mental health seminars to faculty and staff to help the entire campus prioritize student’s mental health in the classroom, dorm room, and counseling center.
Bear Link Job Board
The Job portal is a resource to connect students and alumni with employers for jobs and internships. It serves as a centralized location for job fairs, resume reviews, and more!
Special Support Services
The office of Special Support Services provides prospective students, current students, and employees with information about TMU’s policies for reasonable accommodations.
