Truett McConnell University Announces David Day as New Vice President of Finance and Operations

CLEVELAND, Ga. — Truett McConnell University is pleased to announce the appointment of David Day as its new Vice President of Finance and Operations.

Day brings more than 25 years of executive leadership experience in nonprofit management, finance, operations, and organizational strategy. Throughout his career, he has led organizations through periods of significant growth by strengthening financial stewardship, improving operational effectiveness, and developing high-performing teams. In his new role, Day will oversee the university’s financial operations, budgeting, facilities, human resources, and administrative services, helping advance Truett McConnell’s mission of providing Christ-centered higher education.

“I am honored to join the Truett McConnell University community,” said Day. “I look forward to serving alongside the faculty and staff as we steward the university’s resources well and support its mission of equipping students to impact the world for Christ.”

Prior to joining Truett McConnell, Day served in executive leadership roles with several nonprofit organizations, including Danita’s Children and World Help, where he helped lead strategic growth, financial management, and operational excellence. He holds an MBA from Grand Canyon University and a bachelor’s degree from Liberty University.
