The discipleship groups held on campus are pivotal in fostering an environment of friendship, encouragement, and spiritual growth.
2-3 students lead each of the 10+ small groups that meet across campus on Monday nights. Through Bible studies written by and for students, attendees have the opportunity to spend time together dissecting God’s word, learning as a group, and praying over one another.
Once a month all the small groups come together for a time of fellowship with one another. Sometimes this includes worship or creating “Loved Bibles” to take to those in need. Through everything these abide small groups do the goal is to grow in knowledge of the Word, create community, and love others.
Over the course of the Fall ‘25 semester, students engaged in material that led them through the book of Philippians, and their focus was on Paul’s emphasis of the joy of life found in Christ. Throughout Spring ’26, TMU’s small groups are traversing through the Old Testament studying the line and families that lead to the birth of Christ.
